Can you give the inheritance shares [in percentage form] for the following scenario: wife passes a way and leaves behind a husband, son and 2 daughters.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

In the scenario in question, after fulfilling the necessary funeral and burial costs, clearing any debts and fulfilling any bequests, the remaining assets will be split into 16 shares.

Thus, if there are no other inheritors, apart from those you have outlined, the 16 shares will be distributed as follows:
Husband – 4 shares (25%)
Son – 6 shares (37.5%)
Daughter 1 – 3 shares (18.75%)
Daughter 2 – 3 shares (18.75%)

Note: It must be noted that the husband is responsible for the deceased wife’s burial and funeral costs, regardless of whether she has savings or not, as opined in the following Fatwa.

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best.
