Is it permissible to consume/use Beeswax and Carnauba Wax?
Answer(s):

Beeswax
The Magnum-Opus Encyclopaedia Britannica states, “Beeswax, commercially useful animal wax secreted by the worker bee to make the cell walls of the honeycomb….The beeswax is obtained, after removal of the honey, by melting the honeycomb, straining the wax to remove impurities, and pressing the residue to extract any remaining wax. [1]
From further research, it is clear that Beeswax (E901) is the pure wax produced by Honeybees from honeycomb etc and it contains no actual part of any animal or insect. Thus, this is permissible to consume/use.
Carnauba Wax
The Magnum-Opus Encyclopaedia Britannica states, “Carnauba wax, also called Brazil wax or ceara wax – a vegetable wax obtained from the fronds of the carnauba tree (Copernicia cerifera) of Brazil. Valued among the natural waxes for its hardness and high melting temperature, carnauba wax is employed as a food-grade polish and as a hardening or gelling agent in a number of products.” [2]
Thus, it is clear that Carnauba Wax is a vegetable/vegan wax and therefore, permissible to consume and/or use.

عن عائشة، رضي الله عنها؛ أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كان يعجبه الحلواء والعسل. هذا لفظ البخاري
