Question:
Is it permissible to consume an egg that has small red blood spots?
Answer:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
It would be permissible to consume such eggs after removing the blood spots.
In the rare case when the egg is full of blood (apparent from the excessive number of egg spots) or the egg whites are tinted pink, green, or red, the egg would be impermissible to consume.
And Allah Ta’ala Knows Best.

الحجة على ما قلنا: قال ابن عابدين الشامي في رد المحتار (١/٤٠٣): كما لو صلى حاملا بيضة مذرة صار محها دما جاز لأنه في معدنه، والشيء ما دام في معدنه لا يعطى له حكم النجاسة انتهى.
أما تلك البيضة التي بها الكثير من بقع الدم ففي فتاوى اللكنوي (١١٠): بيضة مذرت، فهي نجسة لأنها تتحول دما بخلاف اللبن لأنه يتغير بالفساد طعمه، وبتغير الطعم لا يتنجس انتهى. والله تعالى أعلم
