medical treatment for flu and cold

Question(s):
If someone uses a nasal spray, will the fast break?

Answer(s):
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Using a nasal spray whilst fasting will break the fast. A Qadha’ will be necessary and not a Kaffarah.

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best.
Ibn Talha
